Just like being back at school!
Challenge, Day 10
Day 10: One person you can trust
I don’t think I can even answer this one. I’m lucky enough to have so many incredible people in my life that I can talk to… it’s wonderful. I couldn’t choose just one.
In Which My Life is Surreal
My parents went to see Mamma Mia today with some visiting relatives and they brought me back a Playbill, because they know I love theater and collect them. I was paging through it and of course, of course in the little quiz they always have at the front there was a question about Caroline, Or Change. And all I could do was smile because it’s still so ridiculous that I’m actually...
Challenge, Day 9
Day 9: Two things you wish you could do
1. I wish I could live with money as a non-object. Just do whatever I wanted without having to worry about things costing anything. I would travel the world, explore passions instead of having to work to pay back college loans.
2. Who wouldn’t wish to go back in time? There are a few things I would change, but there are plenty of things...
Challenge, Day 8
Day 8: Three words you can’t go a day without using
1. Some form of a swear. I know, it’s horrible.
2. Meh. It’s all-purpose.
3. Like. I’m a teenage girl… like, I can’t help it.
2010, In Review
It’s a little photo-heavy, so forgive me.
2010 began with an anxious winter.
Then we went back to school and things had never been that perfect in my life.
The semester ended without event and a summer of wishing for him was what followed.
Summer faded into long, lazy days on the green, back to school.
After losing who I had been hoping for to another girl, I kissed a famous...
Challenge, Day 7
Day 7: Four memories you won’t forget
1. My first kiss. Every detail is etched SO deeply in my mind of that night. It was epic! Say it with me! Epic! (How would you say epic in Spanish?)
2. Losing a friend. That progression of events is equally clear.
3. The two times it seemed as though the guy I was interested in liked me back. That feeling of genuine happiness and looking forward to...

Christmas Miracle of the Day: From The New York Times comes the heartwarming tale of a charming couple from Chelsea who mistakenly received hundreds of letters addressed to Santa and decided to try and fulfill them.
[h/t: inothernews.]
This is beautiful. I hope they ended up fulfilling all the wishes.
Challenge, Day 6
Day 6: Five things you can’t live without
1. My computer
2. My phone
3. Someone to talk to
4. Music
5. Air :-p
Challenge, Day 5
Day 5: Six songs that you’re addicted to
I was going to make this really cool with a bunch of videos but couldn’t figure out how to do it, so oh well.
1. “Fuck You,” - Cee-Lo Green
2. “The Story of Us,” - Taylor Swift
3. “Stay with You,” - The Goo Goo Dolls
4. “The Call,” - Regina Spektor
5. “Speechless,” - Lady Gaga

Challenge, Day 4
Day 4: Seven fears/phobias
Not sure I have seven legit fears.
1. Clowns
2. Spiders
3. Being forever alone
4. Death
5. Heights
6. Horror movies
7. Large and/or hyperactive dogs (If they’re bigger than me or try to jump all over me, I freak out. I like calm dogs though.)
Challenge, Day 3
Day 3: Eight things that annoy you
1. Boys who ask for your phone number and then never call or text you
2. People who don’t put their relationship status on Facebook, leaving them open for you to unknowingly ask them out and embarrass yourself
3. People who walk slowly and make it difficult to pass by
4. Off-key singing. ‘Nuff said.
5. That gorgeous new shoes inevitably cause...
New York Times Year in Ideas, 2010 →
Never fails to be absurdly interesting. I’m particularly intrigued by the emotional spell-checker.
Challenge, Day 2
Day 2: Nine things you do everyday
1. Sleep
2. Shower
3. Eat
4. Check Tumblr and Facebook too many times
5. Talk to my mom
6. Think about certain people
7. Send a bajillion text messages
8. Put on eyeliner
9. Do sudoku (I know, I know. I seriously do every day. It’s kind of a problem)

Here goes.
1....
Break.
So today I packed up my things and left for winter break. If it’s anything like last year it will involve me thinking far too much about people I wish I could see and are too afraid to text, reading stacks of books, watching new TV shows online, and still having no one to kiss on New Year’s Eve.
It’s nice to see my family and sleep and get a break from work, but at the same...
I’m so FRUSTRATED. I feel like everything I’ve been thinking is a lie and I wish I had more information and I don’t know what to think and I’m going a little crazy here.
Of course the semester had to leave me with one last heartbreak. As if I should have expected anything different.
